No. Please make arrangements for a responsible adult to drive you home after surgery. Taxi Transportation is only allowed for patients with an adult escort.

Please stop taking all anti-inflammatory medications 5-7 days prior to your surgery. This includes: NSAIDs, Aspirin, Blood Thinners, Vitamins, and Supplements.

Do not eat or drink anything after midnight the night prior to your surgery.

Yes, you may take your normal heart, blood pressure, breathing, or seizure medication the morning of surgery with a sip of water.

Bring your driver’s license or ID card and health insurance cards with you. You may be asked to bring your co-pay/co-insurance/deductible.

Choose low-heeled shoes and loose, comfortable clothing that is easy to take off and put on. Sleeves and legs should be loose enough to fit over bandages.

Sling shirts are great to have post-shoulder or elbow surgery. You can find affordable options here.

Button up shirts or loose T-shirts, that are ideally a size or two above your usual size. Maxi dresses / sundresses, tank tops, and cut up shirts are also okay.

Sneakers, shorts, loose pants, or maxi dresses / sundresses. No leggings or tight pants.
